What kind of situations can SMART First Point support with?
We can support, advise and signpost on many different kinds of situations particularly if you are you at risk of being homeless due to any of the following circumstances:
• Sofa surfing & friends/family can no longer help you with space
• Living in unsuitable or unaffordable accommodation
• Struggling with rent arrears
• Struggling to pay bills related to your home
• Leaving or thinking of leaving a relationship with nowhere else to go

SMART first point have a number of different teams and work with other partner services to deliver our service. Details of what our teams do are below
Outreach Team:
Supports people 'on the street' who are rough sleeping, helping them to move into accommodation as quickly as possible, to enable support and improve safety. We provide
Housing Advisors:
Support people who are worried they might lose their accommodation, or who are at risk of becoming homeless, aiming to prevent this from happening wherever possible. We provide support with
Floating Support:
Help for those who have moved into their own accommodation to set up a home, and continue support to progress their longer term aims and goals. Our floating support provide
