Streetlink notifies the SMART First Point Outreach Team of any new alerts. The team visit the location as quickly as possible and attempt to find and speak to the person. Support begins from the very first visit, building trust and rapport to help the person move into a safer environment, and access any support that they need.
If we are unable to find the person, we will keep checking. If after a few visits, we are still unable to locate someone, and no further details have been provided, we will stop visiting the location, but keep looking for anyone matching the description given.
